Formed in 1967, Cabana is one of the largest independent distributors of dispensed soft drinks in the UK, and supplies pubs, clubs and other retail outlets across the country. Now boasting a comprehensive portfolio of branded and own label beverages, it is a highly regarded, and profitable, business within the industry. Cabana is part of Nichols Plc.
Cabana’s MD, Terry Bates, together with his wife, agreed with Nichols to buy out the Northern distributorship of the company via a Newco called DJ Drink Solutions. Terry Bates has a successful track record in the industry and has run Cabana for the last seven years. He will employ the 21 existing staff under the new ‘DJ Drink Solutions’ brand.
